Default I did it agian

So as you guys know i broke my fransmissiona couple weeks ago at the track. i ordered another on and put it in on thursday and today(friday) driving to lenox square mall on the interste i was accelatering reaaly fast and went form 5 to 6 and BOOM! this transmission blows out the seal and smoke is everwhere and all the gears busted!

I am really wanting to throw an automatic that can withstand power. looking into a turbo 400 or supra tranny, something like that. any input you guys may know of anyone that has good knowledge on it. or someone that can make the plate to make the tranny work with the S block. also will need a torque converter.

I think you might want to rethink your shifting style. There are many of us around your power levels with the stock tranny doing fine...

well i have 470whp. it was a simple shift it wasnt a speed shift or anything. no diff style for that. but back to the topic please. anyone have any knowledge of installing a diff tranny. this is my next step. i am either going supra or gm. cant decide which will be the easier. i am not one to baby the car. i dont drive it but about once a week and at the track so i want to drive it and not baby it.

perhaps when the reduction gears spilts the rear of the tranny open, it has nothing to do with driving style. you guys have to realize, i dint turbo my stuff to baby it around town and what not. i bought mine to race it. if your not not doing that then you have no idea how to critique someone that does when you are afraid to drive, launch, shift your car.

I am seriously thinking of 2jz swap or Ls2 swap. and parting out my turbo kit and motor

If you are going to drive your car in a manner which is prone to breaking it, don't bitch and complain when things break. Does it surprise you that people have no sympathy for your issues?

I know a lot of guys who race their cars. Drag racing, autocrossing, street racing, you name it. The don't leave trails of car parts behind them. There is a difference between a guy who drives his car hard and a guy who drives his car incorrectly. You sir, sound like the latter.
