I am still on stock ignition coils. I boost to 34psi on E85 and have no hiccups. I won't get a BAS until I absolutely need it.

I heard they were the exact same coils.

If your still getting blow out here and there, that tells me you only need to close the gap a tad more. I'd try 23. I've heard guys running them sub 20 if need be. Sounds like you still have some room to play with.

I also gapped my 2668s at .040" and the car has run superbly. I only run 5.5psi max, though.

I couldn't get past 14psi on E85 with a .032" gap. Dropped it down to .022" and it has been fine since.

This is the same wall I have hit even at 0.018" on (3) cars now. Typiccly I would gap to 0.023" on most cars unless they were going over 21 PSI.

My GM LSS coil and plug ignition system was able to break that wall and increased voltage to the coils also works. Hopeufully ILoveMyHonda1984 (Joey) will get the car ready by spring to try runing increased voltage to the coils. Here is his last dyno session, unfortunatly I could not be there but based on what he was telling me his ignition is breaking up at the top end which is EXACTLY what happend on my car, unfortunaly I don't have the dyno file anymore to show the difference.

I don't know what to tell you, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has gone past 25psi+ on stock coils. But it works for me. So I will keep using this combo until I need a BAS.

Just for reference Im running comptech s/c at 14psi stock coils and I just put NGK (2668) plugs in and gapped them to 0.40 and have done fine for my last autox race, I guess the next set ill try running at the gap they come in ... mine came at 0.30

BTW how often are you guys changing out the plugs?
