Default I have a Aem v2/v1 standalone?

I used to run Aem v2 ems and I had to downgrade to the Aem v1 ems can I use the basemap I got from the v2 or do I need to get a retune. If I can use the same base map how safe is it on my motor?? Thanks guys

AemV2 uses AemTuner and aemv1 uses aempro so it's different software. You couldn't use the same map as it isn't compatible with the other ECU, but what I would do is just open up both softwares and manually copy everything into aempro and use that map, if you don't feel comfortable doing this, just get it retuned

How much burden for you if you will call AEM ? I'm sure they know this basic question. Who knows, they might have a way
to convert the format of v2 and simply load it back to your V1
