Default id1000s. plug and play problems?

Seems like plug and play adapters tend to have issues on the id1000s. Better to just solder the connections?

Yes, I was getting misfire issues with the PNP harnesses. Hard wired the id1000's into my oem harness and it's been all gravy ever since.

Ditto. Most of the pnp harnesses out there are very loose and don't have the rubber isolators. I had to hardwire mine while I was on the dyno.

Cut the old ones off, solder the ID's to the harness, use some heat-shrink tubing and finish it off with oem style plastic wrinkle cable hose with lots of black tape around it..

You can also pull the harness under the intake manifold for that extra clean look!

Yup. Wish I had known this before I bought them. The PNP harnesses are complete crap. I gave up and hardwired as well.

I've had issues as well. I've been told to take needle nose players and twist the pins slightly.

Holy hell, I didn't know that ID had this issue... Well fawk. I've got to switch back to stock injectors when I get state inspections... does everyone have this issue with the PnP harnesses?

So you guys just basically took the PnP harness, snipped it in half, then snipped off the OEM plugs from the factory harness and soldered the ID plug where the OEM plug used to be?

Is this a connection issue like the problems with the OEM MAP sensor that led to the MAP whack TSB? Will putting a zip-tie around the PnP connectors help the situation?

It's not an ID problem its a problem with the plug and play connectors which as far as I know aren't an Injector dynamics part, but whatever connectors your supplier included.

I had my pnp for my I'd injector 1000 come loose in the past. When I ordered id2000 new pnp seem a lot better connection in pins don't seem so loose. Haven't had time to finish car so not sure if they work better, I may just wire direct before its a issue.
