Default ID1300's or ID1700's (stock motor on e85) 620hp?

Hey guys, I'm at the final stages of my build.
Stock F20c, retainers/springs in the head, GTX3076R (Series2), running on e85, Walbro 450.

Now what is the absolute best Injector for this set up above if I want the most possible power with decent drivability?

Currently I have ID1300's but I believe they will stop me from maxing out my above set up.
I plan to have have a maximum of 26psi at maximum boost levels for a stage 2 build with an Inline Pro head etc...

Anyone have any suggestions or guidance?

Thanks guys
Mark

Another thing, will the Walbro 450 fall over at some point? I guess there's no point in getting the bigger injectors if my Walbro 450 can't feed them what they need.

Im running a walbro 450, 1300x on 55psi base pressure. Im going back on the dyno in a couple weeks...ill let you know. Im aiming for 600 on e85. I was told the 1300x are the largest injector that will still have excellent idle and low throttle response...drivability is the most important thing to me.

I believe 1700x also has good drivability. Hatricksu should have the answers...

I have personally owned all the id injectors. I started with the id1000 and thouse were great but maxed out at about 450-500whp on E85. Then I went to the id2000. I keep those for about a month and got rid of them fast because they drove like crap. They drove ok not great but ok on E85 but they were crap on normal 91octane. There's idjectors should be advertised as an E85 only injector. I then went with the id 17000 and keep those for about 6months. And they drove great on E85 but on pump gas 91 octane they drove ok but not great and no where near stock like drivability on pump gas. I now run the id1300 and I'm very happy with them. They drive and idle like stock on both E85 and pump fuel. If you read ids website even they say the id1300 injectors are the biggerst you can go if you want stock idle and drivability on pump 91/93 octane. Now my id1300 are correct maxed out on my E85 tune at 588whp at 20psi of boost with a 50psi base fuel pressure. I also run the walbro 450. I have made as much as 640whp on E85 with the walbro 450 with no issues. A lot of people have made well over 700whp with the walbro 450 on E85 with no issue.

Take me it from my expearence. I always advise people that plan to use normal 91/93 octane in there street car and want good stock like idle and drivability to stay away from injectors larger than the id1300.

Thanks mate, I really appreciate you sharing your personal experience which is exactly what I was looking for.

When you say the car idled average on 91 with the 1700's did you feel annoyed?
Was the car idling more like an old car with carburetors where you feel as though you need to keep the accelerator down a little just to stop it from stalling? That would be annoying.

I'm trying to gauge how annoying a slightly rough idle is versus more power. How much more power did you get with the 1700's versus the 1300's? Was there a noticeable difference?

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm looking to be around 700-750hp but think my only option may be the id2000's.

Is your motor built or stock? It may be a little different with a built motor from what I've read.

Stock bottom end and inline pro head. Very similar to your setup

I have id1700 for almost a year now. Car drives just fine on e85 and 93 gas and everything in between.
