So I bought some ID1600s to go with my fullblown dual hanger and InlinePro fuel rail.. I test fit the injectors today using the longer rail posts and standoffs jeff evans sent me but I turned out the lights and stuck a light in each cyl runner and say a TINY bit of light coming through on the top (connector side) of injectors 1 and 2... anyone else running ID1600 or ID2000s come across this?

The fuel rail posts Jeff sent looked exactly like oem but where longer... anyone know of a honda that might have longer fuel rail posts?

 

I just installed ID1600s but didnt fire up the car yet cause am waiting for my ecu to come back from hondata.
I hope they seal enough. Did you tighten all the fuel rail bolts before you did the light test?

Jeff might have sent you RSX posts which are about 10mm longer.

 

The ID1600's fit fine. Brian had a little too much in the rail installation height, it's been resolved.

FWIW, we now offer a fuel rail standoff 'kit' for this installation. It's 3 machined aluminum spacers and studs for both sides, the cost is $15.

 

Yes eternallx I had it all tightened and everything looked good but decided to use a light to see if there was any gaps.. good thing I did... started talkin to jeff and tony and found out about tony's kit so I guess i'll call and place an order for it today
