I'm not too sure Tony. Let me ask my tuner/friend and get back to you.

He just said that he doesnt know what my vacuum runs at in idle off hand. He says we will have to hook the aem up and log it while its idling. May be able to get to it tonight and get back to you on it then.

Just checked that out, everything looks pretty well in order in your calibration. The 'microSec/bit' is set at 75uSec, which is pretty high for an injector this large and is going to make your resolution for fuel control at idle pretty bad. A small change in the map will give you a rather large change in fueling. I would drop that down to 25 or so and rescale the fuel map accordingly, it will give you much finer control of pulsewidth at idle.

What rpm and a/f ratio are you trying to idle it at?

If you want to make those changes and then email me a log of it at idle showing a/f ratio, injector pulsewidth, rpm and ignition advance then I can tell more.

My microSec/bit is set at 30 for finer resolution to control pulsewidth at idle per what my tuner/friend just told me. He thinks he knows the problem now. We havent gotten around to messing with it yet but he thinks if he messes with the injector phasing and pulsewidth, he can get it to idle better and leaner. I'll keep you guys posted after we get around to messing with it.

Around 14AFR. If not, I can compromise richer too, its not a necessity to have it that lean.

I researched a little bit into the MicroSec/Bit value and just want to double check that everything I did is correct.

I copied the fuel map, then changed the MicroSec/Bit value to 25. That in turn recalibrated the fuel map. I pasted my old fuel map over the recalibrated map. I noticed that if I add or subtract fuel now, it is in way smaller increments. That will help a ton.

Is that all that I have to do?

Thanks man.

^^That sounds about right. Now, also mess around with the injector phasing and pulsewidth at idle.

D1sclaimer was able to get his working good by changing the msec/bit, did you make any progress on yours Spoolin?

Not yet Tony. I'll update this thread as soon as we get around to it or will call you if we cant get it figured out with messing with the injector phasing and pulsewidth.

Thanks for taking the time to help us out.
