S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

I'll be the guinea pig...

i forgot to mention, i would also ditch the wet system in favor of bigger injectors wet direct port systems can puddle, i saw it happen with a friends setup. just spray nitrous and le the injectors add the extra fuel.

This may be a dumb question, but does the car read boost when you spray? Because technically its more air being added. If so could you run like a meth injection to resist detonation, and not worry about finding 100 octane all the time (Not available by me). Then again i could be talking out of my ass, just curious.

Comparing FI to NOS, in the long run I'd assume NOS would be worse for your engine. True FI is always there always working, but NOS is only used sometimes. What kind of wear would this cause on your engine?
This is exactly why I replied with what I said earlier in the post.

People like this have no clue, they just regurgitate what they have heard, true or false.

I agree. This will be the best set up. If I can go back, I would have done it just like that.

We ran a 150 wet shot on my co-workers vette for a long time. it still took at least 20 trips down the strip spraying off the line with a 20 lb. bottle before we had to call it a night. you should be plenty fine with 2-10s. 3-4 pulls my ass. don't knock spray till you try it

sc-suzuka, i love your sig

GASP, i have tried it. i am gona bet you had a serious bottle warmer that cranked up the psi on that 20 pounder to get that many runs.

i am not hating on it, but if its the choice between nitrous and FI, well i made my arguement for FI.

i said 3-4 passes per bottle, that would put him around 6-8 passes for the night. i think we are looking at the consistency he will get. sure you can keep running it, but the shot will be weaker and weaker. you cant tell me you maintained proper bottle pressure to ensure a solid 150 shot for at least 20 passes on that bottle.

watch the video my friend made, thats a 10lb bottle, 80 shot, and just in those runs you can see the shot fading. there was no bottle warmer, so that aided in the shot getting weaker......but it wasnt the only reason.

i want to see his car run a 150. car is gonna haul ass, no doubt about it. evans will tune it right, and he will have fun with it. but just think of all the fun he would have if he had that 150 whp more EVERY time he got on the gas.

this is the only reason i dont have nitrous. cauase i would spray it all the time, kill the bottle, and be filling it constantly. nothing more annoying then running someone, being slow, then thinking , crap, if only my bottle was full

No, nitrous shots do not read boost. Boost is positive manifold pressure, caused by forced air(AKA Forced Induction). A nitrous spray does not cause that.

There are SOOO many ways that an arguement can be made spray vs FI, it all comes down to how much money you want to spend, how much power you want, how you want to use the power, and how often you want the power. Your choice.
