Default Injector driver

Hello everyone, I was searching and reading about the injector drivers. I currently have some Precision 680's P&H Injectors and I'm using a resistor box. Is it correct that an injector driver will work better with my P&H injectors? Will I notice a difference? Especially at idle? Anywhere else? From what I read the resistor box can wear out our coil packs faster? I'm planning to purchase the Horizon Performance Driver if it will make my car run better.

Last question is will I need to have my car retuned?

Thanks for all the help.

Huy

P&H injectors will not work correctly (if at all) unless you get a P&H driver box. The injector driver and the injector type have to match (both saturated or both P&H). You have already spent the $ to get good P&H injectors. So it's either pony up more $ for a P&H driver box or swap your injectors for large saturated injectors w/o driver box. Either way you will have to buy/trade/return something to make your setup work.

P&H offer hi performance with better driveability (at a price). Most hi $ factory turbo cars use P&H injectors/driver, if that means anything to you. It should mean something, but everyone has their own budget to consider.

Thanks for the information guys. I'm planning to go with the P&H Driver made by Horizon Performance that was mentioned on this forum not too long ago.

My only question is will I need a retune when I install an injector driver?

Thanks

For those who used a resistor box and now switched to an injector driver have you notice a difference? Did you need to retune your car?
