Default Injector type and size

I have read the FAQ and looked around quite a bit and I can't find exactly what I'm looking for. If the search worked I might have found it

Anyway, I have a question about injector type and size.

I will be installing a Vortech kit soon on my 2004 AP2. This kit ships from Vortech with a 4.5 inch pulley and this chart indicates that would make ~8.5 pounds of boost at the redline:

This being the case, I would imagine that simply cranking up the fuel pressure with the stock injectors might make things a little too lean at high RPM.

So, what would injector size would anyone recommend? 440, 550?

I also have a question on the type of injectors that everyone is using.

Peak and Hold or Saturated High Impedance?

I don't know the difference. Any help is appreciated.

I did note this in the Vortech install manual:

SUPPLEMENTARY FUEL INJECTOR INSTALLATION (2004, 2005 MODELS ONLY)

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...s/4hs218im.pdf

I wonder if it still might be better to skip this and their black box, add an EManage/EMS and injectors.

Thoughts Sideways, XViper...

You will need an Emanage or EMS to run larger injectors with 550's being the max the Emanage can support(but don't hold me to that). If you plan to run more boost in the future, it would be a wise investment to go EMS with 750 injectors so you have room to grow.

550cc injectors, remove the rising rate fuel pressure, add AEM EMS

I don't recommend the E-manage quite frankly and the ultimate is pretty uncharted.

I just happen to have some 550s for sale. They were used with a Comptech SC, 8psi and an E-manage.
