Default Inline Fuel filter

Was surprised, after searching, that I did not find anything on inline fuel filter mods in here. I know the OEM sock is decent but probably not perfect so I wanted to add an extra margin of insurance.

For those of you who have, what options do we have for adding an inline fuel filter which would rest in an easily accessible place? Anyone have pictures or links?

I did a lot of research and found that the Subaru guys use Golan ones. I asked one of my Subaru buddies and he confirmed thats what most of them use and that it is very good. I bought one, but haven't installed it yet. Looks very nice. Its has the best micron filtration rate I saw of any "cleanable" (meaning you don't have to replace the filter) stainless filters. The flow rate is still very good on it as well.

Here is a thread on NASIOC about it: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1928440

I run a Fuel Lab fuel filter (6 micron micro-fiberglass) right after the stock feed hard line. I was able to tap into the hard line using a FBM stock feed line to -6AN adapter. The filter is mounted by the stock feed hard line. I had to bend and cut some steel sheeting for a good mounting location.

This is one thing that a lot of S2000's lack. It's hard for me to understand why people wouldn't want to protect their nice fuel injectors. It's VERY easy for trash to get into the fuel injectors. This causes all sorts of issues.
