Default Are the inline head gasket worth it ?

Im about to purchase the inline head gasket and i was wondering if anyone on the board has one, they say you could run higher boost *safely*
ill be running speedcraft/ emanage/ rc 550
is it worth it ?

HELL YEAH im in the process of mine but my buddies car has run up to 16lbs with no problem

i would say its worth it. the compression is the only thing holding this engine back from being turbo friendly. after that the rods will be the next weak link as far as the engine goes.


how much are the gaskets running?
i think the kit is around 500-600 bucks. it comes with a modified cam gear that makes up for the thicker headgasket.

there is no adjustment that can be made to the stock one, and yes it is necessary because the more you lift the head away from the block(3mm headgasket) the more the cam chain tightens and ends up throwing the timing off. thats the main reason for offering it with the gasket.

I just spoke to Inline pro and they said you can adjust the stock gear, you have to punch out a pin and you can move the gear. Unfortunately i have no details...
