Alright everyone, the update is here:

Did a compression and leakdown test last night ride after a nice 35 mile drive home. The car has probably 1,500-2,500 more miles on it than the beginning of this thread.

Cyl 1: 197 psi 14% leakdown
Cyl 2: 195 psi 19% leakdown
Cyl 3: 197 psi 15% leakdown
Cyl 4: 208 psi 8% leakdown

I will note, during the leakdown I heard some hissing in the header... so I plan to pull the header away from the head this weekend and do another leakdown to see if the valves are leaking. They could be, as I had some "sunk" exhaust valves during my very first Inline Pro build where they had to totally machine in brand new valve seats into the head. Those could be leaking I'd assume.

Edit: I also camera scoped the bores and they still look great, no signs of scoring anywhere.

Man looks like you can't catch a break. I'm looking at a rebuild for my motor that just blew at a track day and inline pro is at the top of my list vs RSG and a stock motor replacement. Surprisingly it's the cheapest option even with shipping back and forth. The warranty and the customer support they have been providing you is what is swaying me to them, but see your thread history with your issues has me second guessing a bit. I would be NA vs FI. I hope things work out for you eventually. Loving the updates pls keep them coming

Sorry for your horrendous results.

Especially for NA (and likely for boosted) I would go with a used good OEM motor all day. While some will adamantly disagree, I have actually heard more good than bad lately about inline and resleeved motors for these cars. If I wanted to do anything other than an OEM used motor I would just kswap hands down

Do review the last posts from my other thread regarding this #3 engine: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-fo...1208408/page2/

I recently completed my first boosted track day with this engine and the new cylinder head, ran perfectly, 0 knocks all day. Wonderful!

Now, with that being said... I don't know how long it'll last, and was still an awful oversight by inline pro to never correctly measure the old out of spec cylinder head.

K24 would be my choice now that I've seen actual reliable results.

Had a motor re-built by InlinePRO which I thought was a huge reputable s2000 builder. Within the first 1,000 miles I had to take it back due to smoke out of the exhaust. Now my motor is only at 30,000 and I am dealing with the same issue smoke out of exhaust and burning insane amount of oil. I feel like I shouldn’t be having these issues on such a low mileage engine and idk if inline is the problem but I’m definitely suspect considering at only 30k I may need to pull the motor myself to correct the issue.

I had a block sleeved by them every year gasket will go bad with a N/A setup. last year I decided get a full motor build by them and headgasket is leaking coolant to cylinder #2 they asked me if I had someone to help me replace the headgasket but also I had to buy because they didn't try to help. I guess is a common issue with there engines and nobody is taking any responsibility. in this case I will open a shop and colect money from people too
