Default Inline Pro Install. Finalizing Install

Well guys everything is pretty much completed in regards to my inline pro gt30 turbo install. Just wanted to confirm some of the hose connections in order to check it tomorrow.

Just to make sure, the vacuum line from the turbo connects to the side of the wastegate.

Have the turbo oil tap coming from the oil relocation kit. Have the return going to my tapped oil pan.

I found another hose on the turbo which seemed like a radiator hose which Im not sure where this one is suppose to connect too. Can someone advise me on this one.

Also for the BOV, where do you plug in the vacuum line for this?

Regarding the wastegate, this is the stock stage 1 inline pro kit which comes with a turbosmart wastegate. I belive the spring is set at 8. Does this mean the most boost I can run is 8psi until I change the spring? How much do springs normally go for? I want to run 10psi with an aem ems.

Im going to get tuned on Monday. Once everything is connected would it be a problem running the car on stock ecu and injectors with the one of the intercooler pipes put to the side so the car doesnt see boost? They have my new injectors and I have my aem in the car waiting to be installed.

Ill take pictures once im done. Thanks in advance.

bov - intake mani

you got your wastegate spring theory backwards. 8PSI is the least you can run. Yes you can run on the stock injectors and ECU as long as it dosen't see boost.

The gt30 has a watercooled cartridge. That is what the extra coolant hose is for (most likely). You should also have a pair of banjo fitings to connect the water lines to the turbo.
Your wastegate spring pressure will be a minimum regulated boost pressure. You can simply turn the boost up with boost controls thru the ems, run an external controller, or swap gate springs.

(had to correct the speeling edit...dang ipod)

You should really use the water lines for the turbo because it increases the life of the turbo. It help the Turbo alot so use it. I have the same turbo it's great! Tap the oil pan at the top and google all the vacum lines it's pretty easy. waste gate super easy to hook up . Good luck hope you enjoy

Great info guys. Any recommendations on the water line? Can I use the throttle body coolant line? I remembe I blocked it off a few years ago.

If I can't use that then can someone specify what I need to do or purchase?

Here now and have two questions.. The hose on the valve cover which used to connect to the stock intake, where does that go.

Also, the hose for the airpump, do I just plug it?

If there's an inlet/outlet coolant source at the TB (I haven't even looked at mine) then yes, you can use it as a feed/return source for the water ports of the turbo. You definitely want to use the water ports on the BB Garret turbos.

T off the brake booster hose as a vac source. (vac log/manifold is beneficial here)

I would just remove the airpump assembly since it can be dissabled thru the EMS.

I actually tapped into the oil cooler lines. Is that ok?

Regarding the air pump assembly, I removed it from the car and took out one hose. There I'd another one I'm not sure what tl do.

The valve cover hose, one next to the oil dip stick, you said to get a tee and connect it where, was confused about this one.
