Thanks guys. Im anxious to see how the th350 works out as well. Ill definitely let yall know how it holds up to the constant abuse. Hopefully I can get it sown in the 9s. Not looking for anything faster than that truthfully. I still have to weld up a full cage, get a hardtop and some skinnies for the front.

Still trying to finish up a little wiring before I take the car to d3 performance for a tune, but here is the latest. Called up summit racing and ordered some 15x9.275 rt-s rears and some 15x3.5 alumastar fronts. Then shaved the calipers to make them fit without spacers. Tucks nicely.

Update? How's the car running? How much clearancing of the trans tunnel was required to fit the TH350? Hope all is well.

Car is running well. Havent had the opportunity to see its full potential yet due to work and moving but its holding up great so far. Only spot i had to cut was a hole in the passenger floor board to allow extra clearance for the tranny cooler lines. It is a tight fit but i havent had any rubbing thus far.

Awesome. I appreciate the update! Likely going this route (or TH400). Do you know if D3 are still manufacturing the adapter plates?

I dont think d3 is having it made anymore. Huy at inline racing in Houston told me that bmc machine shop made them for d3 so that may be one direction to look. Im very surprised at how smooth this tranny setup is for regular driving

Nice. What kind of converter stall are you using with the trans? How high can you stall it up on the trans brake and how much slip are you getting on the top end?
