Default Inline pro stage 1 intercooler pipes

I searched but it seems like everyone who has installed the inline pro stage 1 kit has removed the air pump. I seem to be having trouble with trying to install the intercooler pipe on the driver's side with the air pump in the way? Is it possible or must I remove the air pump?

Just the hassle with removing it and then having to reinstall it for smog/inspection in California. Also, I keep misplacing parts when I upgrade or modify things. Just trying to see if it's a must remove.

I have an air pump bypass kit for sale that will let you remove and still pass, then you will for sure have room and will save weight.

you won't for that, but then you won't have to reinstall the air pump and remove charge pipes/etc

would make it a lot easier to just throw stock ecu and whatever else back in and not worry about the air pump anymore

just a suggestion
