Default InlinePro 370Z Transmission Conversion Kit

Anyone pre order this setup? Price isn't too crazy with a twin disc included and the transmissions are fairly cheap even new from the dealer. Is this a viable option for a reliable high power high rpm trans that will last?

I would'nt trans swap unless I was sure that tranny could hold at least 800hp.

v160/v161 or getrag 420g would do the trick..... 370z tranny? not so sure

T56 from RPM is a much better option in my opinion. The 370z trans is still a "stock" trans and will give out eventually.

I'm sorry, i thought of the 350z tranny swap. I have no experience with the 370z.
Is it really that strong?

Given it holds up to TT 370Zs, yes, it'll hold more than any turbo F20/F22 can put out. Fast TT 370Z's put out like 700-850 rwtq.

The gears on the 350Z/370Z trans are huge, roughly the size of a V160.

Any thoughts on this kit vs the Collins kit? Anyone running the Collins setup?

Z trans are strong, very strong. they should be able to hold 1000hp with no problem. Not to mention it isn't notchy like most T56s.

Our "stock" 370Z w/ a TT is holding 600wtq without "failing". Spins to 8k rpm too.

How much more torque do you think your 4 cylinder is going to make?

I would love to hear feedback from folks that have gone this route. Only s2ki member that discussed this trans had complaints noise/rattle.
