InlinePro or FB sidewinder?
Hey guys,
I'm making some changes to my S and going with a T4 sidewinder manifold over my T3 Lovefab GT1. I'll be going with the new Precision 6466 to try and push the stock block near 900 whp with peak boost still being achieved within around 5500 rpm.
With that said, which sidewinder is superior? I like the way my GT1 set the turbo in the engine bay, but the DP going under the manifold with the FB unit may be a better option than having it run on top of the manifold like the InlinePro and GT1. The FB manifold is also a twin scroll, is this really going to benefit over if I were to just go with the single scroll Inlinepro manifold. One thing that concerns me about the FB manifold is that there may not be enough room to get my 6.5" long AEM filter on the turbo with this setup. Also the added dump piping that has to be run down under the car with the DP there, will this get in the way of my turbo drain going to the girdle and my oil filter relocation lines that run up to the crossmember? Or is a oil filter relocation even needed with the FB manifold? I'm leaning more for the FB, but just not sure yet. I just don't want any headaches if I switch to the turbo direction in the engine bay with the FB unit.
What do you guys think is the better sidewinder manifold between FB and InlinePro? Have either had any cracking issues; manifold or DP? Any issues with vibration? Do both manifolds come with brackets or are they needed? My GT1 basically needed them and that's why I ask if these also do and hopefully if so, they come with them.

My dad's Inline sidewinder has cracked twice already within a year at the wastegate elbow. They have rewelded it twice for free though and changed the bracing on the elbow this time so hopefully it will hold up.
