InlinePRO Intake Manifold
^^Try and order it. I tried through them, full race, and another local vendor with no success.
Maybe things are different now, but last year I couldn't get my hands on one, and I was ready to purchase.

What I dont understand is.....IP seems to be a very standup company. If they did in fact copy Hypertunes manifold, then why did they call it their design? Why didnt IP just say something like, "We are now offering a Hypertune style intake manifold that will be cast and a bit cheaper"? If they would have done this, I think things would have gone over much better. I think the problem that Hypertune has with this is IP claiming it to be their design. IP should have also contacted Hypertune to let them know what they were planning on doing and maybe even offer Hypertune say.......10% of their sales for letting them use their design for a cast replica. Even if without the 10% offerring of sales and if IP just talked to Hypertune beforehand on their plans, things would have went over much better.

Obviously it looks like you still have a better made product hypertune, why dont you beat inlines and magnus' price and get it installed and tuned on a n/a and on a f/i car and post up the dynos.
That will bring everyone to buy your manifolds and it wont matter whoelse sells one!
either way good luck, I know what it feels like to be cheated!

Common!! Price match and Dyno sheets are all that matters here!

I agree with hypertune. The explanation from YA was very vague and riding the shirt tail of "not arguing on the internet". Well of course its not in your best interest to argue over the internet when you have no argument. The fact is you have chosen the internet to solicit your products and therefore have chosen this venue for debates concerning your product and its origin.
If another manufacturer has spent time actually creating a product and sees another manufacturer capitalizing from the original design, I would say he would be entitled to post up and claim the design for his own with as much passion as hypertune has done.
YA, whether you knew the outsourced company had presented you with a look a like hypertune manifold or not, the least you could do would be to acknowledge its resemblance and admit it may have been derived from the hypertune.
Theres nothing wrong with using someone elses design if there is no patent, but you cant claim you did all the research and product development.
I agree with s2000442, hypertune your manifold looks great. However perhaps you have done a poor job at advertising and marketing as I didnt even know these were still in production. Either that or you arent using forums like inline pro is for selling products. Post up some dyno's and we can change some of these orders for your manifold.

I couldn't have said it better myself.
why does it matter if its a copy? hypertune said hes not losing business infact the oposite if i remember correctly, he has no patents so he has no justification to post about it, im not a inline fanboy or anything like that but u have no argument to be complaining if it is a copy, file a patent then say something. if ya dont then just go back to making urs and making that money.

I also agree about Inline Pro being a standup company. I have been aware of them and their products for years, and was always impressed with their cast SS manifolds, amongst other things.
I'm pretty sure they would have been pioneers of that type of manifold?
If Ya had contacted me at all about this matter, I assure you I would have been very understanding. I don't want any money. Recognition of the origin of the design would have been plenty for me, as I wasn't even planning on producing that manifold any more.
I would have even been happy for IP to distribute my manifolds if they wanted to.
I'm not about to write off Inline Pro as a company, but in this instance mistakes have been made.
Acknowlege the origins of the design and we can all move on.
Having said that, I have now been made aware that there really is a demand here for the type of products I make.
I'm going to try to get my F20C manifolds available ASAP, but it will probably take a couple of months to be honest. The few I had are pretty much spoken for by PM's, and we have plenty of other manifolds on order right now.
For those who are complaining about lack of availability, please note that I did not come here to try to sell my product or to convince you not to buy Inline Pro. I do of course appreciate the interest though, and will do my best to accomodate.
