Post InlinePro Log 6165 turbo

Here is the dyno from my InlinePro Log with a 6165 BB turbo. The car was dyno'ed on a dyno dynamic non corrected dyno which is a pretty low reading dyno. Many others use a correction factor of .15 to make it comparable to a dyno jet which would put me around ~475hp. Most of my mods are listed below. I switched over to the AEM from the Greddy ULt and the car seems to run much better. I also added a HFC and intake. The 3" HFC did help with the 3" single but its still bit loud and did not seem to hurt the power at all. The car is plenty fast enough for me and I still have my 4.77's.... Looking to change them out soon but I want to enjoy the car for a bit, they don't bother me much. Car seems to run around 18 psi. I had some problems along the way, wierd AEM problem, motor mount and a bad ground but I hope its all strait. I will try and post some more pictures as well of the intake.

Very Nice, glad to see you have everything figured.

I can't remember how did you lower your compression.

Where did you set the Vtec Crossover?

More Pics Please

Here is mine uncorrected but of course Dyno Dynamics are heartbreakers but arguably the best dyno made.

I used the ILP 3mm HG.
My vetc is set pretty low, maybe around 6-6500, no problems with vtech dip at all. I am suppose to get my tuned e-mailed then I can look at it.

Dsddcd we seem to make the same power up intil around 8k then you seem to make a bit more, maybe due to the ap2 cams?

I used a larger aftermarket intercooler, but based on my pics above do you think I need some kind of cooling plate? If so which one?

Nice numbers!

Off topic: Was that Greddy RS BOV a direct bolt on to your inline pro pipe?

I would say VTEC is set high, i have mine set for 4800ish, but it all depends on the turbo and manifold being used....

Yeah, the AP2 cam helped, at 16PSI I was down about 30-35HP or more. I had to set the VTEC at 7000RPM but overall it seemed to help.

The cooling plate may help a bit, I would be more converened with that little filter. It does not have much surface area which can and will choke the flow to the turbo.

You can pull the tune off of your EMS if you have had a chance to pick up the Serial to USB converter

Come on now, Don and I have been talking about this for some time. We have nearly identical builds and since I have no way to scale and overlay the curves I posted my uncorrected.

Are curves are very close. If he was to swicth to the AP2 exhaust cam and jump on a Dynojet we would would probalby have a mirror image.

Very nice Don! I'm relieved to see that you finally got the gremlins figured out.
