Not a show stopper, you just have to do it right. I have seen many of these installs where is looks like someone took a plasma cutter and just blasted a big hole in the frame rail. I certainly wouldn't do it that way.

My shop did it. They just fabbed up a piece of steel and welded it in there. Plenty of room (even if I went with a larger turbo some day) and it keeps the frame rail intact.
