Default Installed new gt30, small amount of oil in intake pipe

Just got my new turbo and everything seems to be ok. I don't have a huge cloud of smoke like before when I pushed it. Today I was changing out my filter and noticed a small amount of oil in the intake pipe. Is this normal? I have a .30 restrictor on the oil feed so I'm wondering if it's getting backed up the drain or if this normally leaks a bit. I have stopped taking it hard until I resolve this.

Thanks

Thanks. I have read that before but it states excessive oil in the compressor housing. So would it then be safe to say that some oil is normal?

I think im going to just tap the oil pan again at a higher point around the drain plug location. Having a log manifold and tapping it at the front, it seems that the line has to bend too much and I'm not sure if this is whats causing this to leak so soon.

If your intake does not have any PCV or valve cover breather tubes plumbed back into it, before the turbo, the intake tube should be perfectly clean.

Nope the intake tube doesnt have anything going from the valve cover. I just bought another oil pan and will tap it where i had it before all this happened. I will try to tap it at the highest point possible on the drain side.

I just hope i didnt mess up anything taking it hard a few times. I didnt see smoke come out like before so hopefully once i correct this, it will run like its suppose to.

Are you sure its not residual from before you installed the restrictor?

Before doing anything, clean it and see if it occurs again.

Dont think so. I know they cleaned the piping before they installed it. I already ordered a used oil pan. Will wait until it comes and i tap it/install it before running it hard again.
