Default Intake halfway done, help me finish it off!

Ok, here are some pics, I dremmeled out the fake brake ducts and used some aluminum piping to make a duct, I used a fan to see if it worked and it is doing a nice job of getting outside air into the engine bay, but what else can I do to the filter to make sure most of that air is going through the filter and not just in to the bay.



I know it looks ghetto but the tape is just so the sealant I used on the screws dries

Hmm...modify your stock airbox so your filter can sit inside. While the metal air duct supplies the air to the whole box.

I agree, built youself a box as a heatshield, should give much better results. Then get as much cold air in as possible, like I do through an additional 65mm air duct running from the front grill.

Where did you get that cooling panel? I was thinking of building one but if I can get it at a reasonable pricce.....

The radiator plate with the sticker was provided with the Greddy Kit

Hmmm i tried looking for a thread that already talks about this but couldnt find it, i remember soul coughing has one, and did alot of talking on the thread so hopefully he'll chime in at some point and help you at more then i am
