Default Intake Temps

For those who are forced induction. What are your average readings for intake temp? I am very curious to know if I should re-route my intake to the turbo. I am seeing high 120's when idling for a bit, should I be worried?

Thanks,
Mike

I am installing my AEM serial gauge in the next week or so, but up till now I haven't had any temp readings. I know I'm running hot, but I'll chime in once I get the gauge working. Our cars with turbos seem to run really hot from what I've heard.

It's not uncommon for IAT's on stock NA cars to be over 135.

Idling is not a good indication of what your system can do (if you are intercooled). Mine typical runs about 50*C (122*F), but idling it will creep up quickly to 65*C or more. However, once under way and air gets moving through the intercooler, the temp comes down within a minute or 2.

All good info. The only reason I was asking is my car started bucking going into boost so I changed the plugs to no avail. Come to find out I am running ~9.5:1 afr while in boost. No wonder there is so much soot on my back bumper.
Back on topic the intake temps were a bit alarming at idle but dropped considerable once underway. Just thought I would throw that in as a possible cause.

Just the other day I saw the temp get up to 95 deg. Celsius if I remember correctly. But it was a hot and humid day and went down again when I started moving. Don't remember what it went down to when I went WOT on that day but I know it jumps down VERY quickily once i get on the throttle...
