Is there any benefits that are noticeable when changing the intercooler piping from 2.5" to 3"? How about downpipe exhaust from 3" to 4"? When are the larger pipes needed at what amount of boost or horsepower? As car comes closer to completion I just want to make sure I get it done right the first time.

i'd think an oversized intercooler/piping would increase lag and for turbo exhaust the correct size is the biggest you can fit on your vehicle...
