Default Interested in a reliable affordable turbo for around 425whp

Hey guys! I'm new here to S2kI ! It's amazing! I love it! Everyone here's really helpful!

As I was combing over S2ki I noticed allot of S2k owners that were looking to go FI, Whether it be a Supercharger or turbo, I think this post should help allot of us here on s2ki.

I'm interested in finding a reliable affordable turbo! Something around 400 whp!

Any advice would be much appreciated!

And if so were would I be able to get one? Feel free to add anything I forgot?

Any advice is appreciated, after all, knowledge is power!
Thanks!

Once you have a chat with FullBlown and King's, you will have to shop between the two and firgure out who you want to go with. Both of their stage 1 kits are more than capable and reasonably priced

probably means a full-race kit. if so, that's a pretty good deal, especially with ems, injectors, and supporting stuff. what is your meaning of affordable? affordable and reliable for 400whp sounds like a supercharger is better suited for you. look into vortech or science of speed.

plm forward facing manifold with a holset hx35, this kit could do 550whp pretty easy

but good look finding a kit for cheaper with aem ems, injectors etc. that stuff alone is woth 1k easy. 4700 is very fair i think for everything i have

full race kits and full blown kits start at 4k and go up but not with ems/injectors etc. but they are bad ass kits

I've been reading up on FI since I plan on adding boost within around 6 months, and for a turn key set up that's ready to go $4,700 isn't a bad deal at all.

Its an expensive game. most kits end up 4-6k, plus ems injectors and fuel pump is another 2k, plus odds and ends (if you do it yourself) or pay the labor rate in your area. Then a clutch, rear diff and tranny don't need to be replaced, but understand they are kind of like a time bomb. Joeyballs lasted around 20k I wanna say between both kits, with the tranny getting 30 something passes at a drag stip, whereas other guys (like my buddy a month ago) blew his tranny on the dyno when tuning.

The closest thing I've seen to a "turn key" reliable setup is PTuning.
