Default Interesting fact I just found about Precision turbo V Bands..

Okay so there has been a ton of threads on every forum relating to turbos on this matter of "3 Inch v band clamp wont fit my v band precision turbo!"

Well, that is because most people run T3 VBanded turbos and the answer for these people is always to buy the "2.5 inch" flange and clamp that ATP sells..

Little known fact however is that the T4 VBand does use a universal 3 inch VBand and any 3 inch clamp will work (aside from eBay crap)

NOW, I am running a FULL V Band (In and out) 5857 and I have had a headache over this for days digging through old research and posts from different forums, reading all these "VBand turbo" posts contradicting eachother not realizing no one was including wether they were T3 or T4 based turbos, and today I had enough, got on the phone with precision and asked them what the deal was..

The full VBand precisions use the T3 DISCHARGE as their INLET and use the T4 DISCHARGE as their DISCHARGE..

SO what is needed with these turbos apparently is the 2.5" ATP clamp for the inlet (per what everyone with a T3 precision uses) and just any 3 inch outlet clamp and flange to the downpipe..

I just ordered all ATP clamps and flanges and will update everyone on fitment!
