Default Invidia Single Versus Dual for FI

I have a 2007 S2000 with the KW High Boost Kit. Does anyone have an idea about performance differences between the Invidia single versus dual exhaust if I am running the factory catalytic converter?

Thanks for your input!

Very minimal difference between the two. The dual you will gain more TQ. And the single will net you more top end power. I would say about 4-5 hp over all . If you really want to get a gain from the exhaust look forward to spending at least $1200 for a good 70mm exhaust. I'm running the T1R V3 70mm. i picked up 12whp with testpipe.

With most turbo apps, you want a full 3" mandrel exhaust.

70mm is only 2.75.

^that's true, but that is not as important with a supercharged car. Bigger exhausts are much more important on a turbocharged car, and some people that responded above have big turbos, not superchargers. If I had a big SC setup I would not spend much money on a big exhaust unless you just want the look or sound. It will probably give you minimal gains, but very little.

Talk to Grandmasterkhan. He has a Hi boost KW kit and had a big exhaust on it, but sold it because it didn't give him much of a gain. He is running stock exhaust now.

I have the Highboost kit. And the 70mm exhaust is going to be the best for your setup. Kraftwerks tested there car with a 70mm exhaust. If you are going turbo go 3inch or bigger depending on your power goals.

I should have clarified.

S/C cars like a little backpressure, turbo cars on the other hand like zero backpressure.

You guys are correct in saying a 70mm exhaust would be optimal for a s/c car, while a true 3" would better benefit a turbo car, of course this is depended on power levels as well.

Thats not entirely correct, without backpressure our wastegate wouldn't work
