Default Issue with Greddy kit

Well I got the Greddy kit on the s2000. It is the factory Greedy kit. I had the kit running on the car no problem whatsoever and had no issues. I went and got the intercooloer piping repainted and after assembly the blow off valve acts different. Questions are what does the s2000 at idle show as vacuum? Also to make sure at idle the BoV should be open correct? Thanks for any help

Update: pretty sure it's the Bov now. Is there any default setting? I have had to adjust it hard or soft. It seems to be functioning however, it isn't making the same fluttering noise prior.

bov needs to open at idle. as there should be vacuum in the line. I believe I register -85, -90kpa at idle.

Thanks for the quick response Chef. My problem is the BOV stays closed at idle. I have checked for vacuum leaks but to no avail couldnt find any. Any suggestions?

+ or - 18? you don't want any positive pressure at idle. Of course if the bov is closed then there may be some pressure there. I would throughly go through all or your intake mani vacuum lines, check for cracks and whatnot. Check the spring on the bov to make sure it has enough pressure to stay open. Go one by one to the ports and plug them with your finger to see if the bov stays closed or starts to open. I am not the most farmiliar with the greddy kit but it operates basically the same as any other turbo setup.

ummm, shouldn't the BOV be closed until you let off the pressure and then it'll open to relieve it and close back up...

no bov stays open until you are on the throttle, positive pressure.
while playing with your throttle under the hood you should audibly be able to hear the bov closing when you give it some gas and opening when you let off.

Not mine. I have a Greddy RS.

Mine stays closed until I let off the gas. It opens, relieves, then closes back...
