i don't think they were going for a "coolness" factor by attempting ITB's on an FI setup....

i think the goal should be directed towards
-more power
-better throttle response
-better spool time (i dunno...pretty sure itb's wouldnt have anything to do with spool time because thats mostly due to the exhaust side setup...)
and so on....no about being cool

we will soon be selling our own itb set ups for f20's and bseries as well as k20 in early summer of next year we can make the same set up as in the pic just takes time

it can be tuned and yes there are alot of other factors when tuning itbs yoru tuner has to find a "happy medium"

I'm not sure that there is much power to be gained by going this route. The smaller throttled volume will certainly have some effect on throttle response but unless the manifold/throttle body assembly is a better flowing design, I can't see much gains to be had.

I think a single larger throttle body and a manifold designed for FI (ie. one that sacrifices scavenging/resonance supercharging for all out flow) would be a better option. Cheaper, easier to tune, less restriction in the flow path
Is the hypertune intake manifold designed for all out flow or resonance tuning? I wonder where it is between the two?
