How are you guys torqing your t3 bolts, I'm torqing it to 60 ft lbs. It seems to stay and not coming lose. Looking hot! that turbo looks huge is that gt40 ?

The cost is
$125 for the manifold
$75 for the Turbo Exhaust side
$20 per foot for the down pipe.

Do it right the first time there will be less regrets later.

why wrap the compressor outlet plumbing? That seems counter intuitive to me.

 

just keeping the heat away from the pipes thats all and the piping looked like shit when I recieved it

 

are you useing the stock Raidiator?

 

wrapping the pipe will keep heat in the pipe. I don't think you have anything to gain since the air is compressed and will have good velocity. You might want to look into how your intake air temps differ with and without that wrap to see if you are losing out by using it. It might not be a big difference post IC, but I would still look into it. What looks so bad about the pipe? Scratched?
