I'll take it for a spin and listen for it later.

I took it for a spin. I don't hear a creak. Maybe you need to grease you sway bar ?

I did take some temp readings of the studs after a spirited drive. The outer studs only hit 250 degrees. The inner hit 600 degrees.
I'm going to try the high temp locktite on the outer studs and nuts.

No creaking here.

Thanks guys. I haven't had the chance to crawl under there yet, but I THINK it may actually be the spring bolts that connect the stock manifold to the catalytic converter. The test pipe I threw on there just to drive around on doesn't fit the best, so the springs are all the way compressed.

Quick update. I've put about 200 miles on the kit so far. It's a blast to drive. I'm having a problem with the two outer manifold studs. When I mounted it originally it would not fit over those two outer studs. I had to drill the holes out a little bit to get them to fit. Even after drilling it was very tight we had to squeeze and push the manifold on. This is why I think the manifold studs are backing out. The pressure against the studs and the vibrations are causing it to back out ... that's my theory. I informed ptuning of the problem. They told me to take off the manifold and expand those holes more. I'm not looking forward to this but I'm starting today. Take a look at the picture you can see that the holes don't quite line up.

Any other issues? Are you already getting use to the power?

I had to drill mine out too, but haven't had any problems. I used ARP studs with Nordlock washers.

I took it off tonight and yeah the holes don't line up. So I'm not crazy.
Did you just drill the outer 2 ?
