Can the stock intake (icebox) system be bettered on a CTSC+AC setup?

I was thinking about a CAI setup, similar to 'Torque_obsessed' setup with piping to the faux vent.

What do you think? - I'm only interested in power gains.

cooler air may require tweaking of the fuel table.


but in all honesty, if the air box flows enough air to support the boost level your at, then make the AC system more efficient.

my turbo sucks air from the engine bay and i have nice iats. efficient cooling in my mind is more important then 5-15 degree cooler air being the starting point for said cooling. i know it sounds logical that cooler air in means lower starting point and cooler overall air, but the blower heats the air up to about the same temp regardless. its the cooling after the blower/turbo thats really important. imho.
