I read some past forums and many people are saying that the foam filter for the Comptech supercharger aren't really good. I read some saying that it doesn't filter well and gives less air flow then K&N, but some are saying as long as you oil it. so, I would like to know what is everybody out there using? And for those that trashed the foam filters and went with K&N, What size do you have??? I've always been happy with K&N but wanna see what you guys think before I make my decision. Thanks!

What K&N filter will fit as a direct replacement for the comptech

 

There is no K&N replacement filter for the comptec "ice box" AFE #24-5557 makes one, but it takes a bit of fitting to make it work. But its better than the foam filter that it comes with. If I had known this before I would have just bought the K&N FIPK, and been done with it.
