Thanks for the feedback on emissions - Being in Massachusetts, emissions and safety seem to be done yearly and if I can get away with not taking the entire kit off every year, I'll be a happy man.
-----------
Just drove the car tuned with the k-tuner - tune seems fine except for a couple of things that I think are tuner issues rather than hardware/software issues.

Vtec was kept at stock rpm I did not realize what a night and day difference early vtec engagement made for the mid range - Car has 380whp and felt stock when I put my foot down at 3500 and then once we got into vtec range it felt almost like a turbo where all the power came in at once

The 2nd piece is probably some basic tuning - The cars runs a little lean at partial throttle and WOT - It's up in the mountains too which means I definitely will need a retune once I bring it back to sea level - Owner has the in-tank FPR from SOS which is supposed to be good for that power level but I might swap in a new pump as well + upgrade the wiring to make sure there's enough fuel coming in

Anyone have base calibrations for a turbo car or the base calibrations from SOS for ktuner so I can at least start the car with either pump gas or E85 and 1300 injectors?

I'll see if I have a copy of my tune somewhere. It's for ID1050x injectors though.
Your best bet is to ask your eventual tuner to send you something to get going or call SOS

When I recently flashed my car I saw a few base tunes for certain turbo kits, pretty sure there was a SOS base tune on there since SOS deals with Ktuner.

Thanks,

I spoke with their customer support and they said there was only a couple and no turbo applications. They were not very helpful.

Does anyone know were to get an etune using a Ktuner? AP1Cheif and Evans don't work with Ktuner and it seems they are rarely used with the S2000.

I couldn't find anyone to tune with Ktuner, ultimately I will buy Flashpro....idk why Ktuner doesn't get more marketing for our cars, the CivicX guys love it, same with the Accord guys where I came from.

I could be wrong but it’s missing some of the more essential safety features like protecting the engine by rev-limit/shutting it off from overheating.

Also, my 2004 AP2 with AEM passes inspection in MA fine. Once older than 15yrs old no need for OBD2 check.

Did you ever install the generic S2000 tune that comes with the Ktuner? The reason I'm asking is that I noticed no difference in performance, so either it didn't install correctly or it just doesn't do much.

If you guys have a KTuner or Hondata and can generate CSV logs, happy to look at them and assess them. I should be able to tell how timing looks, VTEC engagement, safety features and more importantly WOT and Part-Throttle AFR.
