Just a heads up on the stock brace there... I mounted mine to it and mangled it pretty quickly. You could re make that brace out of some better stuff and it'd work good.

Got the transmission in and running but it's making some nasty noises, I'm thinking the input shaft bearings are badly worn Can't decide if I want to rebuild or just get another one..

wouldnt it be easier to rebuild?

Yea, assuming the bearings are the problem. I had the transmission apart during the build and I thought everything looked fine, but that's obviously not the case. At this point, I'm looking at about $190 for the new bearings and seals or 520 for another transmission from LKQ.

Seriously! I was so excited to finally get everything in the car after so many hurdles and obstacles, when I took it for a test drive, the noise was so depressing :/

Regarding you viscous diff. Not sure if you're aware already, but you can shim the diff for more lock.
