King Tut's PTUNING Turbo Kit Build

The rubber lines for coolant are the ones Jim is referring to. They leaked on his car 4 times. Here is what Jim, myself and others have used to replace them. Only thing I wish I had done different, was got ones that weren't purple. I have nothing else purple in my bay lol.
You're making good progress man. Excited to see your results. Mounting the turbo is for sure the hardest part. It will definitely be downhill from there on.

Yep I got it new from PTUNING last month. I haven't seen any of the other PTUNING kits with these lines. They are the same style AN lines that they sell with their oil distribution block which I also have, and why I posted that picture to show what the lines look like under the heat shielding.
Hmm, that is kind of weird that they would want the coolant to fight gravity. I will have to fully read that white paper. The center section is definitely clocked and the oil feed is not perfectly level with the ground, so there is a clear low side and high side. I am not really sure which direction the coolant flows through the throttle body hose that gets removed to provide coolant to the turbo. I will try to find a diagram of coolant flow for the motor and make sure I hook them up in the best orientation.
I'm 99% sure the coolant flows out leaving the head, which goes to the TB, which goes to the water neck. So if you're feeding it from the head, you want the coolant to flow head -> low side turbo -> high side turbo -> water neck/tb.
Yeah the return is the Tb. Now I'm wondering how I routed. I need to check.
That's good you have ss lines. It was such a pain to keep replacing. Ptuning told me they were making a ss option now. They should just include them.

Yeah I can imagine. I could barely get a wrench on the AN fittings to tighten them down with the turbo out of the car. I am sure I will have to pull it out should any leak develop. I am sure PTUNING includes the SS lines with all the turbo kits now as it wasn't an option when I ordered.
Day 4 is in the books, and I got a ton done today. With the coolant lines running upwards, and the turbo mounted to the manifold properly, I got everything lined up perfectly, and tightened everything down. The exhaust and O2 sensors are complete. I then started working on the oil return system and oil cooler. I got everything done with that except wiring up the oil scavenging pump. Next up is mounting the intercooler, installing the piping, and finishing up the water cooling. I forgot to hook up the line that goes from the thermostat to the timing cover before I took these Day 4 pics:

Added you to the build index in the stickies.
The oil scavenge pump assist the oil dump to keep oil from getting backed up in the turbo. Circulates the oil from the turbo to the oil cooler (if equipped) back to the timing cover.
