Yeah I guess it doesn't really matter the order, it's still top 20. I am very surprised that underground racing isn't on it.

AMS should have been first. Underground racing and RRE (road race engineering) should have been on the list.

Damn. Quite a few shops specialize in S2Ks. And most of these shops are in CA. Someone come over to the east coast!

There's a lot of shops that deserve credit, UGR and RRE like stated above. The list seems to only point to shops that work with imports/Japanese cars. Some of those shops specialize in other cars then whats listed but only the imports are listed. I'm pretty sure Switzer started off their business as Euro cars only. My friends shop in Ohio, Realtune Performance, deserves some credit. They hold many records with their SRT4 builds. I know they're only Neons and Calibers but fast is fast.

I have to agree the criteria I think for this list is not only best tuning but who does R&D and full support from online shopping, to track prep, to full builds... 2 Shops that should have been on the list is EFI logics in Bethel, CT... specialize in race prep, custom fab, dyno tuning, and much much more for subaru, domestic, and full out custom stuff. The other shop im suprised not to see here is full-blown motorsports... I mean their R&D I think is much better than half the shops on this list... AMS yes... very good shop. But my good friend had a 947whp 2.3 stroker, 42R, widebody, HRE`s, built by AMS on his evo 8 back in 06-08 it took with a price tag of $140,000 plus the car and there were several things on the car that were not quality of a top rated shop. Alot of zip-tys... bad electrical routing... bad customer service after the fact when there was some issues... After his experience with them It just left a bad taste in my mouth... no homo lol
