On one of my clients cars we just wrapped alot of the wiring in dei fire wrap and had the hot parts coated after a few heat cycles. turbo blanket of course. Car has 7k miles and the only thing moved was the battery to the trunk for aesthetic reasons. Others did want their boxes and harness and ac lines tucked so those were easier but its a really good kit for the money imo.
It maybe a good kit but they should tell their customers the truth about what needs to be done to run their kit trouble free. The more I read about this company the more I would not spend one dime with these guys. Thanks for the money but you figure out after things melt what we said is not accurate.

I agree with you, it could have had catastrophic consequences.

But you are quite lucky, at least they have responded to you.I suspect they see yours as a fairly inexpensive fix, whereas mine isn't.

Gave them a call and he was very cool and helped me out. I am in no way trying to ruin the companies image. Mr.pitts i understand that you had a bad experience but i personally think you should let it go now. You already made your point.
I did some research and even the inline pro kit had issues with heat.

So he convinced you to delete your post pointing out they say no relocation needed but you melted through 30 wires in the first couple weeks? I hope he paid you well...

No i bought the kit off of a friend. He didn't use it so i bought it. Apparently the kit comes with fire wrap for the wires. It may hace been misplaced from sitting. It was a misunderstanding on my end.

We did not convinced anyone.

He explained his situation and mentioned he didn't purchased that kit from Kings Performance. He bought it from a friend of him and his friend didn't supplied him with all the parts included in the kit like the Heat Covers / Wrap that are included when they ship from us.

Everything has been resolved

Thanks for your time,

Kings Performance

I really recommend that you relocate everything on the hotside with any turbo kit, even if they say you don't need to. It gets hot on that side, and things will melt no matter what you do.

Maybe you should have done your research and spoke to Kings before you posted this up.I would appreciate if you kept your opinions about my situation to yourself, after all it was you that pm'd me to bring this to my attention......to what end??my situation isn't about a couple of thousand dollars for a second hand turbo kit.Mine is about an $15-20.000 situation which should have been over when I bought this "1000mile from rebuilt motor", from Kings performance, for the $5500 that Fernando said I'd paid for it.

Let's see you throw away 1000s of dollars and just let it go
