Here is a little update we have after the new mods & upgrades.

As all of you know we got sponsored by Turbo by Garrett & we change the turbo to a Garrett GTX42 72mm BB turbo. We also decide to try other tranmission options to provide all our customers with more options when it comes to transmission.

We have tested from the stock tranny to a full cluthcless tranny on the S2000. Now we have installed a G-force 4 speed H-pattern dog box on the car. And let me tell you that thing shifts like butter Now for those looking for the best option for your street/track car set up you won't go wrong with the Toyota V160/FBM Adater plate/Clutch Masters twin. But we wanted to push the limits a little deeper.

After upgrading:
-Garrett GTX42 72mm BB Turbo
-G-force 4speed Dog Box tranny
-Clutch Master 8.5" Twin Disc

We decide to put the car on the dyno yesterday to get ready for next weekend Drag Mania @ West Palm Beach, FL and after a few passes the car end up making 1,011 whp @ 39psi!!! We are in love with the S2000 engine, that is by far the most efficient motor ever made. The car is still running STOCK Cams, NON Ported head, STOCK Intake manifold

After this race next weekend we are going to be testing a new set of cams that we have been working on (Retail will be around $699) and the new FBM Cast Intake manifold.

is that the smnallest diameter clutch they make?

 

No, they have 7.25" and they can also do Carbon/Carbon smaller.

if not even using the clutch, why not use the smallest to get rid of the useless weight? am i missing something?
