Default knock sensor

hey guys, last year i installed my 3mm headgasket and had a local shop tune it with the aem ems, well they did a good job tunning the car but they told me my knock sensor was junk, so i called 2 of the local parts stores in the area and they told me our cars dont have a knock sensor can somebody help me out? do i have to order it right from honda?

There is a knock sensor installed threaded into the block under the intake manifold.

Slow is right.
yes our cars do come with a knock sensor located on the actual block under the intake mani as stated before, if the parts store cant source you one best bet is honda!

and apparently the JDM model even has 2 knock sensors...according to the manual.

thanks guys, that's what my brother told me,i guess i have to call honda, and most likely i have to remove my intake manifold right?

You can remove the sensor if you remove the alternator and belt tensioner.

You can get to it, by just getting under the car and putting your arm in the air

There is a gap to slide your arm into and get to it with a spanner .. don't need to remove anything.

(on a RHD car)
