Won't be starting the car again until its fixed. Once again, just glad it wasn't the blower!

Damn that sucks. Well at least you found the source of the issue and like you said, at least it's not the blower.

It's not too bad. think it'll just be a matter of me taking the drive system off and putting it back on correctly.

The crank pulley adapter not sitting flush could be a possibility. I do remember it not wanting to sit properly in the crank pulley.

I would think if it's making noise change it so it don't break .. Can't imagine worrying about power loss while my pulley could fall apart .. Especially if it's a kW pulley ..

^ i agree. seems like an odd question. If its making abnormal sound, its indicating failure or soon to be failure.

Update on my C38-81 lock up. On March 31, I received a FULL $1,009 refund on my credit card for the replacement blower, oil, belt and banjo bolts/washers from Kraftwerks. I have had no e-mails from them with an explanation as to the root cause or failure mechanism in the blower. But, hey, got my money back. It's now been two years since I initially installed the kit, so warranty is up. Next failure is on my bill.

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you have to replace any bolts on the kit. Make sure you get the right specs from kraftwerks. some off the bolt sizes in your installation instructions are wrong
