mmm lets see Evo running 23lbs of boost and the KW running 10lbs of boost. kinda like apples and oranges.
Its not that simple. Apparently you fail to understand compression ratios. In case you didn't know the S2000 stock compression ratio is 11.1:1 while the Evo stock compression ratio is 8.8:1. That is a pretty darn significant difference...so your apples to oranges statement is even more valid. It takes less boost to make more power on a high compression engine than it does a lower compression engine. Bump the S2000 compression ratio down to 8.8:1 and I can guarantee you you will need ~20psi to make the same power as a stock Evo at 23psi. Still a 3 psi difference. All kinds of differences. Wanna know a pretty significant difference? Torque. If both cars were at the same compression ratio and boosting the same PSI, an Evo will ALWAYS make more torque than the S2000. The only way that could change is if you stroke the S2000 motor.

Anyways, we can go back and forth over this. The bottom line is both cars are great at what they were built to do. I am glad to own both.

Now, if you'd like to arrange a run against my wife's Evo with either a turbo or supercharged S2000, we are down. There are several in my area...
