Default Kraftwerks kit all done at 7300 rpm

I installed the latest Kraftwerks kit in my 2007 S2K, Skunk2 headers, Invidia test pipe, stock exhaust It came with the Grams 1000 cc injectors and Grams 265 LPH fuel pump. As you can see the party is over at 7300. Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Jay Sends..

I'm not familiar with tuning on the fly by wire s2000s but with how hard that falls off it looks like the throttle was chopped. I'd look at the data log and make sure the TPS is still showing 100% above 7300 rpm. Other than that, im not sure what the HP limit is on stock exhaust but I'd imagine you are getting somewhat close to it

:slapforehead: ..... the tuner should of been able to tell you right then and their what was going on seeing he has pretty much everything logging as possible at that time.

another thought. I imagine you could feel that power loss in the last 1000 rpm, so it begs to question. Do you? Because maybe his tach is off. Wouldnt be the first time i saw tach discrepencies as much as 500rpm

There is no limit on "tuner" stupidity

I just tuned my Kraftwerks kit yesterday and had nearly the same issue. Pass 5, started running lean at 7600 rpm. Next pass started running lean at 6700 rpm. For me it was the gram fuel pump. Im changing mine out and going back to finish my tune.

7600rpm, with stock header and exhaust and high flow cat - 375 HP to the wheels.

Im now in search of 95mm pulley.

My tuner told me the same thing with my tune, that it was running out of fuel right around 7600rpm, so he then adjusted tables to make linear power, albeit less, all the way up to redline. This was at Church Automotive in Long Beach, and with ID1000 injectors and the included Grams fuel pump. I have since ordered a Walbro and am going to go back for a retune. Btw car made 360/250 on 91 octane, and 410/280 on E85 (closer to E60ish)
