Default Kraftwerks s2000 at the glen

Ok guys so went to the Glen this week .. Last year I blew the oil out of my canister and seized my blower at this event .. This is a high speed course . Had a lot of issues with cooling last year and even into this year .. My new setup includes .. Mocal sandwhich plate with 200 thermo.. Setrab 19 row cooler .. Mr sideways triple core rad .. Baffels on hood .. And cut ap2 bumper with Mugen lip and foamed all around the intercooler .. Oil cooler also mounted under headlight on bracket .. Cut hole in front bumper and on inner fender well to let air flow straight through ..
This year coolant went to 204 and straight down to 191 and oil never saw above 235.. In 80 degree ambient temp .. I was getting to 255 oil and over heating my coolant at limerock in cooler weather ... So think we solved my cooling issue ....
Also not really beating on the car usually shifting at 7500 rpm .. Broke 2 belts at the track .. Once when I was driving and hit red line .. And once billman was driving and not really hard just fast .. I think the belt is breaking from heat and tension .. The belt has to be getting really hot cause there's slot of surface area and with the pulleys expanding it puts a lot more tension on the belt .. I personally think a auto tensioner will solve this issue .. I had belts set to soft when cold and perfect when hot .. The belt I snapped was one the car for a while and the one billman snapped was brand new .. Thank god I had 3 belts ! So I ran last session shifting at 6 k ..
Good news is that Cj is workin on getting me on the race pulley setup .. Hope that cures my issues.

Quite scarey with these belts is how hot they're getting.

90c surface temps with my Chinese laser gauge. Thats with the tensioner virtually backed off.

Need a belt that's about 10-20mm longer.

Now that I think about it maybe some cooling holes in the plate might help ..

I took temp of my belt the other day .. Driving at 7000 rpm for a mile then getting off highway.. Temps of belt and pulleys were 235 fahrenheit.. That's 112 Celsius .. I don't know what the temp range for the belts are though.. And I can imagine it's a lot hotter on track .. That will be my next test ..
