I am trying another brand of belt next. Got a belt from Medway who are a sister company of Dunlop. 1/3 the price of a gates one I might add!

Well went to the Glen again .. Now in the new race pulley setup .. Glad to say not one issue with the belt and it still looks good ..you can see I did full throttle a lot .. Did hit 240 on temp for the belt which is high by gates book .. 185 max ... kW still has not responded on that issue .. Also broke the bolt that goes into the block on the driver side top mount .. It has come loose a few times .. Now locktiteed it and it broke a 12.9.. Waiting on Cj at kW to get bak to me ..

If your referring to Watkins Glen raceway, that's awesome! Small world! I grew up 15 minutes north, west side of Seneca lake.

Chef,

How are your Vtec bolts holding up? Are you running the stock KW Vtec bolts or something else?

I also have the kw v2 kit and decided it was just best to upgrade to Allen bolts (Black Alloy).

My vtech bolts are from the kit . Still in good shape ..never came loose .. The vtech gasket has blown out on me twice .. Pretty much right after install .. They revised the bracket and made an inner lip for one of the holes that was missing the lip previously.. Now no more leak ! But the other side mount has come loose a lot .. Like I said now on 12.9 Allen with red locktite .. Will try grade a bolts.. You can actually fit a alight longer bolt than what's supplied .. Just measure in the hole with something .. I'm wondering if I can bore it out and make a bigger bolt fit ..
