Default Kraftwerks Supercharger

Just finished installing my Kraftwerks high boost supercharger and took it out for the maiden voyage. Had to keep the rpm's low for break but could still tell this thing is going to be a lot of fun. This is my first experience tearing into the car and I must admit I was more than a little apprehensive when I began. Hats off to the Kraftwerks guys though. The instructions were first class, all the parts were well marked and top shelf, their customer support was beyond my expectations. Everyone I worked with there went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and patiently answered all my questions. I run a pretty large company and am constantly working with my staff to provide a high level of customer service. I must say that the team at Kraftwerks has raised the bar so high that they have not only earned my respect but a customer for life. Can't wait until the end of the day so I can finish the break in and have a little fun with the car. 2 weeks and I take it to the track!

After your initial drive check all fittings and hoses and ensure none have any leaks. This is a primary mistake people make before jumping on the throttle.

Also ensure that none of your hoses for the oil cooler are showing signs of rubbing.

Then with no leaks and everything running smoothly report back with that feeling of your first WOT with a rotrex.

Thanks for the info. Got past the break in and Oh My God! This things takes fun to a whole new level. There are a few roads down here that are in the boonies and not heavily patrolled. I pretty well know how the car should feel based on my gear choice and throttle position for most of the corner exits and set up for the next corner (I thought). Everything being the same I was 25-30mph faster hitting the next corner. Looking forward to the track so I can get a better feel for what the car can really do, it's just too easy to go way too fast on the streets. I did notice a small oil leak (coming from the hoses at the remote oil filter) and have the car at my mechanics to see if he can get it to stop. I tightened the 10AN fitting and stopped most of it but noticed there was a few drops this morning and since I was planning to take it to him today for suspension weight balancing and alignment, I thought he might have a better angle to get it while on the lift. There was one other thing I noticed, blue oil near the rear end, any ideas what this might be?

With all the new plumbing under the car, there are a lot of places where you could have a small oil leak. Have your mechanic check all the oil fittings. I had a few leaks myself.

As for the OMG factor, I couln't agree more. The fun level of the S2K + Rotrex can be seen from space!
