Guys,

I'm bleary-eyed from looking at all the Vortech-related posts , and I think I've got this pretty much right, but as a final safety check, I'd like to ask your opinion on my proposed setup. Please let me know if there is anything I've overlooked.

Setup:

1. Vortech at 7psi
2. VAFC2 for tuning to ensure I'm not running lean anywhere
3. AEM UEGO with A/F gauge (and a big red light if A/F goes too high!)
4. Check to make sure my banjo bolts have 4 holes (I have an '02).
5. Oil pressure, A/F ratio (see above) and Boost gauges. How about EGT?
6. A new clutch
7. Comptech reinforced diff housing.

Later, I'd like to go AEM EMS, but will this be sufficiently safe and effective to start with? What I don't want to do is simply rely upon the Vortech's FMU to handle things - not without the extra insurance of (at least) a piggyback to keep the mixture on the rich side.
