Default Let's talk exhaust

Well after trying to figure out what do do for an exhaust I've decided to pull out the welder and fab my own. I'm going to run a full 3" downpipe back. Now here's where it becomes fun. Anyone know where I can get a list of SCFM rates for the differnt muffler companies? I figure for single muffer, I need one rated atleast 900cfm to maintain a free flowing system. So far the only thing I have found is the Dynomax ultra flow...and that's because that's the only muffler I can find flow rates on. I think what I really want to do is run a single inlet, double out muffler mounted where the stock resonater is and the do straight pipes out to the stock locations at say 2.5". I'd give the stock look while keeping the back pressure down. Anyway thoughts, opinions and of cousre any info on flow rates are welcomed.

Interesting experiment. I have a Hitech cat back and my plan is to replace my cat with a high flowing unit and replace the piping from the cat to the Y junction with 3" stainless. Then branch off to the 2.5" piping. That way the exhaust still looks the same and probably flows better.

I REALLY need a stock rear bumper, and then an AP2 so I can make exhaust choices easy for everyone

If you want to go Single, the Apexi N1 muffler REALLY sounds good with a resonator just past the stock cat location.
Im straight 3"(flared to 4") right now, but I dont mind a loud exhaust, and havent had the time to build a replacement(kinda got ripped off on "selling" the old exhaust, ie, didnt ever see any $). Actually at the track, my straight pipe exhaust was still one of the quieter cars there; turbos are good mufflers

Hey Cody...quit posting in here and ship my turbo

LOL j/k, I'm not sure if I want single or duel yet...but seeing how finding flow rates on differant mufflers is getting to be a pain in the arse, I might just go with a single Dynomax, it flows 1100cfm
