LF base map gemu and Id1000
Hi
I am looking for a map to at least get me to the dyno or even to start to tune with.
I am supercharged at ~8psi with id1000. I have a few other mods but i dont think its worth mentioning.
I dont have the greddy map sensor but i will probably get it.
Anything would be apreciated
Thanks
Sylvain

Without the Greddy pressure sensor, you can just adjust the injector sizes from stock to 1000cc and the correct dead time of the new injectors and you'll be able to drive it with the charge pipe off and stock map sensor. That will at least get you to the dyno without worrying about boost fuel/ timing
Ya s2-kai. That would be the worst case scenario. Il would have like to have a better option.
There is no way im taking those inj out. Putting them back in at the dyno would be a bitch. Id rather tow the car.

You don't have to swap the injectors. Install the 1000's and adjust the injector size and dead times on the EMU software with the stock maps and remove the charge pipe so that the engine doesn't see boost. That way, you can drive to the dyno and then replace the charge pipe and get it tuned for boost

Removing the belt is a lot easier then fumbling around with the charge pipe, just remove the sc belt. But really it’s not hard to drive under boost with everything hooked up, assuming you have a boost gage to monitor, just drive it easy/normal and you should be fine. I’m running your set up, unfortunately I don’t have my injector calibrations memorized and my laptop with my program is down so I cant even go look. One other person I could reference you to would be Pm "urban_dk". He doesn’t spend a lot of time on the forum anymore, but he does check in periodically so you might hear back from him in a week or so. If he feels like it, he will look up the info you need. Beyond that I’m not sure who else knows the system well enough to be able to help.
Also, if the tuner your taking the car to cant walk you through the set up calibration over the phone to get your car to him, there is a fair chance he wont know what he is doing with tuning the system once you get there. id call him first and get his help. And IF you had to, removing the injectors is not a big deal once you have done it a few times, takes me about 15min in a parking lot, you could do this.

Now thats better ;-)
Thanks junky !!
Your right , driving out of boost is pretty easy and i have a boost gauge.
I have already contacted urban_dk but i think is at a point were is done is part in anwsering all the gemu noobs. I also tryed torque_obssesed and je said he try to find one of is map. That is my biggest hope right now.
I just contacted my tuner ( thanks for that ) and he said we can work things out. He is looking at the diference between both injectors. He knew the id1000 were high impédance but wasnt sure for the oem ones.
At this point i guess im looking for tips to adjust the injectors ??
Thanks for all your inputs. They were valuable.
Still in for a map if anyone out there as one.
Cheers
